The Mendocino County Fairgrounds has provided unique economic and cultural opportunities to our community for over 80 years. Every year, over 20,000 guests use our fairgrounds for a wide variety of activities, including our annual Mendocino County Fair & Apple Show. We also serve as an important disaster/emergency resource, standing ready to serve during floods, fires, and other emergencies. The cost of operating our fairgrounds has grown, with increases in minimum wage, fuel, insurance, as well as materials and repairs to our aging buildings. Keeping our fairgrounds economically viable has become a daunting task, especially since we do not rely on local or state tax dollars. We are proud of the fact that we generate revenue locally through rental of the fairgrounds, admission to the annual Mendocino County Fair & Apple Show, and sponsorship fees.
We are always looking for generous people who want to see the success of the Mendocino County Fairgrounds continue. Whether you’d like to sponsor a buckle in the Fair rodeo or help us put a new roof on any of our buildings, there are many ways you can help.
If you are interested in making a donation, please provide us with a little information, and we will be in touch!
